transfer admission plan
The total number of students that attend Appalachian state University is 17,932 students. The minimum number of credits needed to transfer is 30 credits with a 2.25 GPA. There are many different benefits for going to this school some of those include the school being close enough to home but also far enough away where I don't feel like I am still at home, and I have family who lives close to the University. One of the most important things about going to a college, for me, is the sports. Football is important to me and I've grown up loving Appalachian State Football and attending this school will make me love it even more. As a transfer student, I am not promised on campus living, unless my major is education. Thus meaning that I will live in an apartment while I attend this university. The average class size ratio is 16:1 so every student will understand what is being taught. In order to transfer, your college and high school transcript must be sent when filing out the transfer application. You do not need letters of recommendation but you have to have at least 30 transfer credit hours or an associates degree in the major you choose with a 2.25 GPA. Because I want to major in business, I have to have at least 12 hours towards my major before I can get into the college of business and earn my bachelor's degree.
